Led by founder Tammy, Akouō Women's Collective is more than a coaching service—it's a mission-driven community dedicated to helping women heal, grow, and step into their most authentic and powerful selves. Through faith-centered coaching, Tammy guides Christian women to break toxic relationship cycles and align their choices with their true identity in Christ.
Her Story
Tammy's journey of transformation began at age 15 when she was adopted after running away from a childhood filled with abuse. Though she had met God in a dream when she was 9 years old, it wasn't until she walked into a church during her year as a runaway that everything changed. Seeing a picture of Jesus, she immediately recognized Him as the man from her childhood dream, and that night, she gave her life to Christ.
The transformation was immediate and profound. After being taken in by a loving church family, Tammy dedicated her 20s to deep healing work instead of dating, focusing on breaking generational patterns and discovering her purpose. Her global ministry has touched lives across Africa, China, Thailand, and the United States, including:
Mentoring survivors of human trafficking and foster care youth
Strengthening underground churches and sharing the gospel in unreached areas
Teaching English and leadership skills to students in China
Providing spiritual guidance and care for children in orphanages
Even after 20 years of walking with God, Tammy found herself in an abusive relationship just 3 years ago that revealed areas still needing healing. This final piece of her journey completed the Akouo Alignment Method—the approach she now uses to help other Christian women transform their relationship with themselves and prepare for God's best.
Tammy believes in creating a supportive environment where women can overcome relationship challenges, discover their worth in Christ, and stop attracting relationships that don't honor who God created them to be.
